I achieved working with my team and getting along with Samantha and Freddie.

This week I enjoyed doing fun experiments one that we did today was with mirrors we used the reflection and the first team to melt there biscuit were the winners.

This week I learnt the golf postion when we did golf.
This week I enjoyed our art we have started doing
drawings of apples and adding shading to them.

This week I learnt lot's of symmetry and lot's of Geometry.
This week I enjoyed berrying our time capsule 125 years.
Friday 4th September
This week I achieved finishing my collage artwork and my name
was moved up to super for good attitude on our ladder in our class
ladder.
This week I learnt some more about how children learnt 75 years ago! The people that came in told us alot of help ful thing because they went to waiaupa school 75 years ago there names are Tom Boyd and Mr Cole's This week I enjoyed doing my writing sample here it is.
I am lining up, hesatating but still trying not to giggle, then I hear “HURRY UP BOYS NO TIME TO WASTE”, “now girls, walk on.” Our Teacher Mrs Brown is holding her CANE, the giggaling has gone when she raises the wooden cane, It’s aiming at the rules for today one was never use your left hand, that means I’m lucky that I write with my right hand…...
We are then asked to stand and sing the national anthem. When we sat down again my clothes were getting uncomfortable, until Mrs Brown stole that thought of me by shouting loudly “Hands In front of you time for the nail inspection!” In my head I am saying “oh no” because I bite my nails. At the table I am sitting on, there is a slate and a slate pencil on the wooden desk , It was time for handwriting…All the thoughts in my head were saying “HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO WRITE LIKE THAT?!” It was cursive writing but then again that mean Teacher Mrs Brown stole my thoughts again and replaced them with get the letters down fast we are wasting preciouse time.
The girls and the boys had their own side of the room the side that the boys had was working nicely until, “stand up” the cranky instucter walked straightly to the front of the room , picked up some chalk smothered a bit of it on the board and Fred had to put his nose on the smothered chalk!
It was almost the end of our lesson and we had to write out the words on the board in linked cursive writing. The feathers we all were writing with were had a big differance to pencils.It was now the end of class, I had a awasome learning experience in that victorian room and i am glad that I can get these clothes off!

This week I achieved doing criss cross for the first time with a skipping rope. This week I learnt a lot about what schools were like about 100 years ago here is a fact:most children when they were learning to write their letters they didn't learn to write on paper they used a tray filled with sand they drew figures in the sand.

This week I'v achieved getting TENTH in cross country!-that's way better than last time!
Friday 14 August
This week i learnt a lot about health because we had healthy
eating with a girl who's name is Andy we looked at the amount of sugar in foods
here are some examples.
there is 79.0 grams of sugar in drinking chocolate!!!!
there is 10.9 grams of sugar in coke bottle-size small-!!!
I also learnt that protein goes to your tawn mussels and fixes them up.
at the age of twenty your bones stop growing
This week i also learnt my nine X table and very easy way to work it out.

This week I showed care to the ENVIRONMENT when we
all went planting down the road for T.F.S-trees for survival.
This week I enjoyed doing my netball tournament i had a netball tournament for winter sports It was also very challenging because our first one we lost 14 to 1.
We also wrote a story about a squirrel which is just below!
SQUIRREL ON THE RUN. Hi I'm a squirrel and I have small black eyes and a brown and grey coat that's very soft. One day I was climbing a tree and halfway up the tree I notice something…. It was just a little spot at that moment, so I kept on eating my nuts but then in the corner of my eye I saw it come closer to me I was sure it was just a bird.
It flew closer I saw an EAGLE had landed on a branch close to me.I hurried further up my tree I am on.
I started planning for my escape how many trees I should climb what path should I take.Then at that moment the preditideter took off closer and closer to me I ran straight down the tree towards the ground.My tail swawing behind me in one fast pasce I climbed up another tall and wide tree the big black claws tried to catch me but missed by a couple of inches!!! I sighed in relief but i kept on running the predator wanted to have ANOTHER GO AT ME! I ran hard up down and in between trees until I reached my dray,I thought i was safe now but then the monster attacked my HOME1 I jumped out the bottom of my house that was on the edge of a branch I went flying down to the ground but landed on my tiny feet. I scampered across the brown and yellow leaves I climbed up another tree and the big beast was right behind me it opened its claws wide and nearly got my AGAIN!
While I was running to another tree with a small hole in it the huge bird was still flying really really close to to me,I climbed up the tree with the hole in it and dashed into the tiny hole the bird tried to find a way in but couldn’t it flew off without me in his mouth for dinner. My heart was still pounding as i was checking everything was over.

This week I have ACHIEVED learning my 3x and 4x off by heart.
The tables I know are-2x 3x 4x 5x I defintley know my 10x and 11x and half way through the 6x.
I ENJOYED doing the sky tower run we do to keep fit and fast for cross country. I learnt my 4x tables. Something i found challenging this week was.....finding all the colors in the magizens for our art collarges.

This week i am PLEASED with my letter that we did to our parents and was our writing sample I did mine on why i should have a miniature pony to play with because i can ride banjo and play a bit but not really. But focus on the letter.

Yesterday i did my speech i had forgotten to bring my cue cards so i had to read it off a floppy piece of paper double sided! since i did not have my cue cards that had some added things on them i did my speech differently.I could improve my speech by.....: 1.)learning it off by heart and not even having to have my cue cards but that would be hard.
2.)I think the thing that i did well in my speech was .....that i had GOOD Expression.

this week i found my maths in room 4 for a bit easy but also challenging with some of the other complicated things in it to i had some trys and got it wrong but in the end i got it right after about three trys.
This week i have achieved getting lots of my speech done on turtles i am now up paragraph 3 ! did you know that we kill 4600 turtles every year in whole world.

This week i have been learning how to add tens and teens together and work
