The Getaway Squirrel

As the colourful leaves flutter down onto the dirty ground in Autumn, the obsidian- eyed squirrel dashes through the dark woods to find some food.

While the fluffy rodent is trying to find its nuts, a dusky eagle peers over the light brown squirrel. Seconds later the flier dived like a missile for the Nut Eater. The navigator missed and the collector took off to its dray.

Later on, the bird of prey has a leer searching for the gatherer, the talons of the bird curl and hook on to a dull dying branch. It has a fleeting look. A tree branch starts to russell. The bird tries to make out what the sound is.

It detects the prey and has another go. The fury prey is crunching and enjoying its lunch, until… Unexpectedly the feathery predator returns for a rematch. It flew and attacked the dray, the escapist drops and lands into a bed of petals.

It whizzes through the sticks and leaves, then grips on and wall runs up a bark tree. The eagle charges at the squirrel once again. The squirrel does a leap of faith to another dark brown tree.

The feathery animal has missed again! The little legs of the fluffy squirrel raced to a black hole that lead into a trunk of a tree. The pitch dark wings of the birdfluttered, it was chasing its prey, but he was too late. The bird gave up and flew away.

The squirrel's heart was pounding, It was so relieved.
